We sell personalised star-map posters, both as matte prints and framed. Each poster is produced on-demand based on the date, time, location and text you choose. Images in the customizer are a preview — small colour differences from the final 300 DPI print are possible.

All prices on the website are stated in euros (EUR) and include the applicable Belgian VAT (21%) for consumers within the EU. Shipping charges are shown separately at checkout. For deliveries outside the EU, import duties and local taxes may apply and are payable by the customer.

A contract of sale is formed once we confirm your order by e-mail. You are responsible for the accuracy of the date, location and text you provide. Because each poster is made to order, changes are no longer possible once production has started. If you spot a mistake, e-mail hello@starrednight.com within one hour of ordering and we will do our best to correct it before printing begins.

Payments are processed securely by Shopify / Shopify Payments. Accepted payment methods include Bancontact, iDEAL, Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as any other method supported by Shopify Payments. We never see raw card details.

Please see our Shipping Policy for concrete lead times and costs. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery of the poster.

Because all our posters are made to order based on your personal specifications (date, location, text, design), they are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal under article VI.53, 3° of the Belgian Economic Code and article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.

Your statutory conformity rights remain fully applicable: under articles 1649bis–1649octies of the Belgian Civil Code, consumers enjoy a two-year legal warranty against defects that already existed at the moment of delivery. See also our Returns & Refunds Policy for our goodwill scheme in case of damage, printing defects or lost parcels.

If your poster arrives damaged, shows a production defect or is never delivered, we will offer a free replacement or a full refund under the conditions set out in our Returns Policy. Please report the issue within 14 days of receipt at hello@starrednight.com.

The star maps, graphics and software we use remain our property and are protected by copyright. You receive a non-exclusive licence to use the poster for personal, non-commercial purposes. Reproduction or commercial use of the design requires our prior written consent. Underlying star data comes from the HYG Database (CC BY-SA 2.5).

Our liability is limited to the amount of your order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, nor for delays or errors beyond our reasonable control (e.g. carrier delays, customs, force majeure). This limitation does not affect your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer.

If you have a complaint, please first contact us at hello@starrednight.com. We aim to propose a solution within 7 working days.

If we are unable to resolve the matter together, you may as a consumer turn to:

• the Belgian Consumer Ombudsman Service: consumentenombudsdienst.be;
• the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. The courts of the Dutch-speaking division of the Brussels Enterprise Court are competent, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules granting consumers the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their own domicile.

We may amend these terms from time to time. The version in force at the moment you place your order applies to you.
